  The Series 1 line of instruments was designed to provide the classic style of the ’50s and ’60s while maintaining all the modern quality and functions of today. A brilliant chrome ring accents the classic black dial and white pointer. This line adapts equally well to a modern race car or a retro custom project. All instruments have metal housings and stud-type electrical connections except Clock, Hourmeter, and Cylinder Head Temperature gauges.
Series 1 features include:
• Unique air core movements designed and built by VDO.
• Computer-balanced pointers.
• Gauges available for most U.S. senders.
 • Great nighttime visibility.
• Tested in some of the toughest applications in the world.
